The Winnetka Thrift Shop, founded in 1912, is the largest source of revenue for the Family Service of Winnetka-Northfield. All proceeds of the resale store benefit the counseling and psychotherapy program at Family Service.

Shopping in The Winnetka Thrift Shop is like going on a treasure hunt.  Since our shelves are re-stocked daily, every visit becomes a new adventure.  You might just find that special item you have been searching for!   You’ll be amazed at what you’ll discover and how much you can save!  Our merchandise is in excellent condition and well-organized and our dedicated staff and volunteers are eager to help make your shopping experience easy and enjoyable.

Donations Desired

Tax deductible donations of gently used clothing, shoes, jewelry, furniture, home décor, and books suitable for resale are graciously accepted at the shop between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.
